Season
The tour season runs all year round, with
special tours running during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
The “Rebus – the Body Politic” tour
will normally run on Saturday afternoons. Please note that tours
cannot be guaranteed to take place until you have received an official
confirmation by e-mail of your booking for a particular date.
During the period of the Edinburgh
Fringe Festival tickets are only available in
advance from www.edfringe.com from
June 2007 onwards.
Tours continue after the festival. Complete the booking form if
you are interested in taking a tour on any Saturday.
Groups
Group
bookings can be accepted at any time of the year with enough
notice and
subject to a minimum of ten participants in the group. Special
group rates are always available and departure times can be tailor
made for groups’ own wishes.

Tour prices
Tour prices for 2007 are: £10.00 adults, £9.00 concessions
(seniors and students on production of ID). No cheque payments
are accepted. The tour price is payable in cash to the guide at the
start of the tour.
Special ticket prices may apply for group bookings for the period
of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. See the Fringe
website or
its printed
programme
for details when these are available from June 2007.
Pre-booking Essential
Please note that places on the tours must always
be pre-booked. You will then
receive an e-mail to confirm whether the tour is taking place
on your chosen date and to confirm the departure time and place.
If
your date is not available or if all places have already been
booked, you will be advised of alternatives.
Rebustours cannot be
responsible for any alterations or changes to your overall travel
plans or any inconvenience thus caused should the tours not be
available.
Disabled Access and Children
While
every effort is made to include participants with a disability or
impairment, these are walking tours which involve some inclines,
descents, steps and crossing busy roads. Wheelchair users are therefore
asked to bring a companion who may assist. Please ask for further
advice if required.
We do not recommend that children under the age
of 10 come on the tour. This is not because of the tour content – more
to do with the attention spans of younger people! Children under
five go
free with their parents as long as they are able to be carried
or travel in a pram as needed.
Terms and conditions
The Rebus Tours Company accepts no responsibility
or liability for cancellation, loss or injury sustained from participating
in the
tours or resulting from a tour booking. All tour bookings are
accepted on this understanding.
